Lower your blood pressure, naturally

Here is a true story. A few years ago, I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and prescribed Lisinopril. I was 37 years old. After taking Lisinopril for about six months, my blood pressure was in a normal range at 125/75. Now keep in mind that during this time I lost a little weight began exercising more often and eating better so it is not possible to isolate the meds as the sole source for my improved health. The only side effect I experienced was occasional dizziness which my wife who is a R.N. suggested was a result of being over-medicated.

Some time after six months of taking Lisinopril, I had a friend over who is involved in the insurance business and knows a little about common drugs. When he heard I was taking Lisinopril, he told me I needed to get off that drug immediately. “There are no studies showing the effect that drug has on your liver after taking if for 20 or 30 years and once you’re on bp meds, you stay on them until you die,” he said. He also told me he would check with his friend who owns a GNC store to see if there is a natural alternative.

A couple of days later I received an email instructing me to purchase L-arginine and Cayenne and take both for one month, then continue with just the L-arginine as a replacement for the Lisinopril. I did as instructed, taking 1,000 mg of L-arginine daily and my blood pressure stayed exactly the same at 125/75.

I was also told by my friend that a side-effect of Lisinopril is ED, or problems getting an erection. I hadn’t experienced any problems during my short time while taking it but who knows what would have happened five or ten years down the road. Another surprising benefit of taking L-arginine instead of Lisinopril is that L-arginine is a primary ingredient in many of the male enhancement products. So one bp solution could potentially ruin my liver and make my wiener limp while the other might make it larger.

So here are some ways to lower you blood pressure:
  • Lose weight
  • Exercise
  • Eat healthy
  • Take L-arginine
  • Stop using tobacco
  • Lower your caffeine intake
  • Men have two drinks of alcohol daily, women one drink
  • Reduce your stress
Good luck and stay healthy.

I had a similar experience with high BP and arginine. I had been borderline high and did not get a prescription for anything but started taking arginine every morning and my BP dropped also. I didn't know about the side effects but now that I think about it, my dick probably gets harder than it normally does.
